ZEISS VISULAS YAG III

The ZEISS VISULAS YAG laser is used to treat posterior capsule opacification (PCO) — the clouding that can develop months or years after cataract surgery — restoring vision in a quick, painless outpatient procedure. It also performs laser iridotomy, a key preventive treatment for angle-closure glaucoma. A high-utilisation piece of equipment for any practice already doing cataract surgery, since a meaningful share of patients will need a YAG follow-up procedure.
